徐耀昌說，除觀光文化外，三義也具備良好的農村體驗場域及友善稻米田區，孕育出優質的農產品，期盼農會多多整合串連在地農場、社區、農夫市集及農產品，加強推廣友善農業及食農教育，同時提高農產品知名度，增加農民收入。

這次活動除特色米食與茶油料理推廣外，並設置小農市集，展售獲綠色保育標章的無毒友善鯉魚米、茶花、茶油、苦茶皂等，另頒獎表揚三義鄉稻米達人劉春富、張達塘及范日紅。
